In the month –
Of March winds –
In the night –
When oft man sins.

In the cold –
Shivering, spent –
Sear the sparks –
Good grace’s rent.

Wednesday’s pay –
Winter’s ash –
Deposit made –
No shadowed cache.

And though winds
Blow –
Howl
And thrash –

Again, absolved –
Seared sparks
Will
