on the higway of life...

My daughter just phoned on her way to teach at a Catholic girls' boarding school. She was about 45 minutes away from her married sister's home when her car broke down.

Our cars are ALWAYS breaking down whenever and ESPECIALLY when we're on our way to Mass, or a Catholic School or, well...when you have a big family you don't get to buy new cars so this happens a lot...

Always trying to put a nice or rather Catholic spin on the little sufferings we must bear I told my daughter...

"Well, whenever one of our family cars break down it means an angel is getting his wings!"

She didn't didn't laugh.
