REQUIEM'SADIEU
You give fatigue
So we'll know rest.
You raise the sun
So we follow towards West.
You give us pain
So we'll know health.
You make us poor
To reap true wealth.
The rain comes down
And grass grows up.
The vineyard's void
To fill our cup.
In prayer we kneel
And supplicate.
We stand to walk
The way made straight.
Big with child
Grows woman's girth,
Then shrinks back down
At baby's birth.
Seemed contradictions,
Proud, yet humble.
Trained to race
But often stumble.
So death can't bring
"Good-byes" for you,
Saintly souls live in Heaven
So for now..."adieu"!
